Dr. Rajpal Brar suggests that Aston Villa forward Morgan Rogers might miss the rest of the season due to a possible hamstring injury.
According to Dr. Rajpal Brar, Morgan Rogers, Aston Villa’s 21-year-old attacker, may not be fit to return for the remainder of the season due to a potential hamstring injury sustained during the Brighton match on May 5th, where he played only 26 minutes. Dr. Brar, a specialist in physical therapy and sports science, discussed Rogers’ situation with Villa News, stating,
“Rogers had to receive treatment on the pitch in the game against Brighton. He has a hamstring injury which aligns with the image where physios are testing the hamstring. His availability will really depend on the severity of the strain. If he can’t return before the end of the season, then his rehab will continue into the summer.”
Despite his injury setback, Morgan Rogers has been a standout performer for Aston Villa this season. The young winger joined Villa from Middlesbrough in January and has made a significant impact in the Premier League.
With three goals scored in just 11 league appearances, Rogers has already surpassed his goal tally from 26 Championship matches. Manager Unai Emery has primarily deployed him on the left wing but has also found success with Rogers in a central role behind the striker.
