Sean Dyche may well be the problem with Beto at Everton as Juventus and Roma are showing interest in signing the forward.
The Guinea-Bissau international signed for the Toffees over a year ago now in a deal worth £30million [BBC Sport] but he has failed to live up to the hype.
The 26-year-old has registered just 43 appearances on Merseyside, which has resulted in six goals with just three coming in the Premier League.
Dyche has been reluctant to utilise him in his side at Goodison and that may prove to be a mistake given the level of side interested in signing him.
Everton flop Beto draws interest from Juventus and Roma
There is a reason that the Toffees opted to sign the striker from Udinese – he had scored 22 goals in his previous two seasons in Italy.
As a result, interest from Juventus and Roma has been mooted by Gazzetta on 13 October as the Old Lady look for a replacement for the injured Arkadiusz Milik.
Given that Thiago Motta’s side are in the Champions League and fighting at the top end of Serie A, that interest shows the level that Beto could reach.
With that being said, it does make Toffees supporters look at the squad and wonder why the forward isn’t being handed a chance.
This would point towards Dyche being an issue in hampering the career of the 26-year-old, who could prove to be a useful asset at Goodison Park.
Interest from some top sides could give the ex-Burnley boss a thought to give Beto some more regular minutes and see what he can do in the Premier League.
If he is good enough for European heavyweights Juventus, surely he is worth more than a bench role at Goodison Park?
