Coventry City star Callum O’Hare facing summer Celtic, Rangers decision

This article is a verdict which provides personal opinion on whether a move to Rangers or Celtic be the best for the midfielder.

Callum O’Hare, a midfielder for Coventry City, has an expiring contract this summer and is attracting interest from Scottish powerhouses Rangers and Celtic.

O’Hare is now without a doubt one of the most beloved players still at the club after Gustavo Hamer and Viktor Gyokeres left earlier this year. His return to action in recent months was obviously much needed, and it coincided with Cov’s ascent up the league and into play-off contention.

After suffering a serious ACL injury last year, O’Hare has played in 27 of the last 30 games for Coventry across all competitions. It looks as though he is back to his best form. Even though he returned on schedule, the club is not in the best of situations regarding his contract. There are bound other sides.

Callum O’Hare’s next career move

Since his current contract is set to expire this summer, he is now able to discuss a summer pre-contract arrangement with clubs based abroad, including the two major Scottish rivals located north of the border. Many teams are interested in O’Hare, including Southampton, Everton, and Fulham.

According to an HITC report, Burnley, Southampton, and Leicester City, two Championship teams, are among the others who are rumored to have made offers for Coventry’s star. However, the midfield player has been linked most frequently to Rangers and Celtic.

The race for promotion and the final play-off slots are not assured without an outstanding finish to the season for Mark Robins’ team, therefore Coventry has little chance of keeping O’Hare on board if they are not promoted to the Premier League this season.
