League One’s Charlton Athletic have shown interest in securing the signature of Blues striker Gassan Ahadme.
According to the EADT, the 23-year-old spent the entirety of the previous season on loan in League One with Cambridge United, scoring 13 goals in 23 starts and making nine substitute appearances despite a season disrupted by injuries.
Charlton Athletic are now reportedly interested in recruiting Gassan Ahadme, the Spanish-born Moroccan striker, whose contract with Ipswich Town runs until the summer of 2025 with an option for an additional season. Other clubs have also shown interest in securing his services.
Initially joining Ipswich Town in August 2022 for a low six-figure fee from Burton Albion, Ahadme made one start and seven substitute appearances in his first campaign with the club before returning to Burton Albion on loan in January. With limited prospects of future involvement with Ipswich Town, he appears set to depart permanently this summer.
