In Cleveland, Ohio, the Browns have once again turned to the Baltimore Ravens for backup quarterback support following their acquisition of Deshaun Watson.
Last season, when Watson suffered a fractured shoulder, the Browns enlisted former Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco to aid their campaign. This time, they have reached an agreement with Tyler Huntley, another former Ravens backup who has previously started games against the Browns in relief of Lamar Jackson.
Aged 26, Huntley will join a quarterback roster that includes Watson, new backup Jameis Winston, and Dorian Thompson Robinson, the team’s fifth-round pick in 2023. Winston, aged 30, recently agreed to a one-year deal with the Browns worth $4 million, with potential incentives of up to $4.7 million based on games started and victories.
