Breaking: Sad as Birmingham City Man to be shown exit door by Club…

During the summer transfer window so far, the focus surrounding Birmingham City has been solely on the number of potential incomings, but now it seems as though one player is set to move in the opposite direction.

Throughout the summer so far, Birmingham have welcomed the additions of Alfie May, Bailey Peacock-Farrell, Ryan Allsop and Emil Hansson to their League One side but have been continuously linked with several other players including Brighton’s Marc Leonard, Barnsley’s Callum Styles and Burnley’s Scott Twine.

However, whilst all eyes have been fixed on potential incomings at St. Andrews, Birmingham City look set to lose one of their first-team players ahead of the 2024/25 League One campaign.

Longelo set to leave Birmingham?

One player that appears to be closing in on a permanent exit from St. Andrews is defender Emmanuel Longelo, who has made 40 appearances for the Blues since his arrival from Premier League side West Ham United.

According to Sky Sports journalist Tim Thornton, Birmingham City have accepted a bid from fellow League One side Barnsley for the full-backs services, though no direct figure has been mentioned.
