BREAKING: Patriots’ Tom Brady Superbowl XLIX signed ball auctions at over $1.5Million

Brady earned his fourth Super Bowl ring on February 1, 2015, when the Patriots defeated the Seahawks 28-24 thanks to four touchdown passes from him.

According to TMZ Sports, the Gotta Have Rock and Roll auction house is currently selling the balls that were used on two of those scores.

The first football in the pair was thrown to tight end Rob Gronkowski for a 22-yard touchdown in the first half, which gave New England a 14-7 lead.

The ball is being sold with the original trainer’s tape and bandage still attached, along with the blue marker marking “#87TD,” which designates Gronkowski’s play.

The second ball in the pair was used to throw a four-yard touchdown to Danny Amendola, helping to cut the Seahawks’ lead to just three in the fourth quarter.

Brady and Amendola both sign that ball, with the receiver writing “Super Bowl XLIX Game Used TD Ball” on it.

The ball has also been painted on one upper panel, marking the score and designating it as Amendola’s touchdown ball, since the game.

While the touchdowns helped the Patriots win the Super Bowl, they also allowed Brady to make individual history.

With his touchdown pass to Amendola, he surpassed Joe Montana’s record of 11 Super Bowl passing touchdowns with 12.

In ten Super Bowl appearances, he finished his career with 21 passing touchdowns.

Gotta Have Rock and Roll is also selling a 2017 AFC Championship ring given to Amendola, which is estimated to fetch $20,000-30,000.
