BREAKING: Packers elevate David Long Jr. to replace injured CB Alexander ahead of Sunday’s game VS Cowboys

Jaire Alexander, a cornerback for the Packers, is listed as doubtful to play against the Cowboys. During a workout this week, Alexander was stepped on by a teammate, causing an ankle injury.

David Long Jr. has been added to the starting lineup, General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced on Saturday.

He’ll go back practice squad after the game. Long has played three regular season games for the Packers this year before rejoining the practice squad this past week. In addition, he participated in three games for the Panthers and eight games for the Raiders. Throughout his three stops, he recorded 19 tackles and one pass defensed.
