The Roosters centre was charged but can escape with a $1000 fine over the tackle.
The news will come as a relief for the Roosters, after Manu’s right-edge winger Dom Young limped from HBF Park with a hamstring injury.
The Roosters have battled injuries and bans in their outside backs all season, and are still without veteran Michael Jennings for another match through suspension.
The Tri-colours have a bye next week, before facing Parramatta in round 24 as they continue their push for a top-two spot and home final.
Dolphins second-rower Keeley Oryn and Warriors five-eighth Chanel Harris-Tavita were also charged following Friday’s matches, but can also accept fines.
