Sheffield United Will Beat Birmingham City To The Goal
This summer, Blues manager Chris Davies is getting support in the transfer market. He just signed Icelandic international Willum Thor Willumsson and has been eager to get Harrison Burrows of Peterborough United. Given that Burrows’ contract with the Posh is expiring, it has been generally anticipated that he will leave the London Road side this summer.
Burrows is headed to Sheffield United, thus Birmingham will likely lose out to other teams that have been pursuing the left-back. After losing to Leeds United on Saturday, the Blades have finally reached an agreement with Peterborough to acquire Burrows.
Sheffield United will put the defender through his paces medically the following week. If a late hijack attempt were to occur, Chris Wilder might be eager to move forward with the transfer as soon as possible. Among the teams that have been eager to sign Burrows this summer is Preston North End.
