The Southern Mississippi alum expressed how not being drafted has fueled his determination as the Bills begin their rookie minicamp and offseason training.

“It pushed me a lot,” Gore told reporters about his motivation from going undrafted. “I feel like there’s no way 257 people [were] better than me in this draft, but now that that process is over, I’m a Bill. I’m here to compete and I’m here to push my teammates and push the running back room and try to get on special teams.”

During his college career, Gore amassed 4,022 rushing yards, 26 rushing touchdowns, and a total of 41 scores. Although it will be a challenging path to follow in his father’s footsteps, Gore Jr. is clearly driven to make his mark.
