Villa manager Unai Emery is reportedly eyeing a potential reunion with Tottenham’s overlooked midfielder Giovani Lo Celso.
The 28-year-old Argentine, Giovani Lo Celso, is reportedly being linked with a move to Villa Park in an effort to revive his career after falling out of favor and dealing with injuries in north London.
Unai Emery initially brought the midfielder to Europe while managing Paris Saint-Germain in 2016. The duo reunited more recently at Villarreal after Tottenham sent Lo Celso on loan, where he impressed.
Emery aims to strengthen his midfield options after securing Champions League football, with Luton’s Ross Barkley set to join and Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher also being targeted.
