Arsenal and Milan square up in the fight for Sesko

According to Telegraph Sport, Milan will have fierce competition from Arsenal for RB Leipzig attacker Benjamin Sesko. The towering center striker has become the Rossoneri’s first pick over the past several weeks, especially with Joshua Zirkzee of Bologna expected to sign with Arsenal. But after meeting with his agents, the Gunners are now leading the fight for Sesko as well, mirroring their previous meeting with Milan chiefs last week.

Milan has an issue with the Sesko clause His contract features a release clause that has increased from €50 million to €60 million and has the potential to reach €73 million, depending on how well he performs. The whole release clause would not bother Arsenal, even though Milan wanted to jump in early and set the stage for them to be able to negotiate a €50 million deal. Sesko, who will turn 21 later this month, has scored 11 goals in 27 senior Slovakian caps. In 41 club games so far this season, he has 17 goals and 2 assists for RB Leipzig.Manchester United and Chelsea are among the other teams connected to the hitman.
