Club enters the fray for the Fulham forward; supporters think there’s a “real chance” the deal will go through.

Brazilian media reported that Grêmio is interested in signing Carlos Vinícius from Fulham this summer. Vinícius, who recently had a loan spell at Galatasaray, is unlikely to feature in Marco Silva’s squad, prompting clubs to pursue him.

Journalist Jorge Nicola revealed that Palmeiras is also keen on signing Vinícius. A source close to the striker indicated a ‘real chance’ of his departure from Fulham, and his agent, Flavio Ribeiro, confirmed a ‘big chance’ of his return to Brazil.

Valued at €4 million by Transfermarkt, Vinícius has a contract with Fulham until 2025. Initially, Grêmio was expected to seek a loan deal, but with Palmeiras now in the mix, a permanent transfer seems more likely.
