For the ninth consecutive year, the Longhorns have earned six all-conference honors.
At the Big 12 Championship regatta held at Nathan Benderson Park, six members of the No. 2 Rowing’s First Eight from the Longhorns secured all-conference honors. This achievement marked the ninth consecutive year that the team has garnered such accolades. Their remarkable performance led them to clinch their ninth straight conference title by sweeping five races, thereby earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship.

Anna Jensen stood out by earning all-conference honors for the third consecutive year, joining a select group of Longhorns with at least three such nods, including Kate Knifton and Rachel Rane. Etta Carpender secured her second consecutive All-Big 12 recognition, adding to her career achievements, while Abby Dawson, Carly Legenzowski, Lanie Nitsch, and Marg van der Wal also made the list.
With their eyes set on the 2024 NCAA Championship, the Longhorns aim to clinch their third national crown in four years. Scheduled from Friday, May 31 to Sunday, June 2 in Bethel, Ohio, the national championship serves as the next battleground for the Longhorns’ rowing prowess.
The 2024 All-Big 12 Conference Rowing Team also features notable names from other universities, showcasing the talent and competitive spirit within the conference.
