Bryan King predicts Everton will offload Michael Keane following a recent transfer disclosure.
The former Everton scout suggests that the club will part ways with the center-back along with several others this summer as they aim to manage their finances.
This follows a report from iNews on April 24, which disclosed Everton’s interest in Hull City’s Jacob Greaves, a member of the Championship Team of the Season.
In an exclusive interview with Goodison News, King indicates that Greaves could potentially be signed to fill the void left by Keane.
“Everton will have to offload players this summer, that’s clear,” stated King. “Keane is among those expected to depart; it’s certain he’ll be sold. The question is, will they recruit Greaves as his replacement? Only time will tell.”
Everton’s Michael Keane’s time at Goodison Park comes to an end.
Since joining Everton in 2017, Keane has seen limited opportunities under Sean Dyche this season. He has started only four Premier League matches out of nine appearances in total.
With his contract expiring in June 2025, this presents an opportune moment for the club to sell Keane. While they may not command a substantial fee for him, any incoming funds would be beneficial for Everton.
