Hull City and Ipswich Town draw spectacularly to maintain play-off ambitions and give Leeds United a Premier League lifeline.

Due to the outcome, seventh-placed Hull will start their season’s last game at relegation-threatened Plymouth Argyle on Saturday, two points behind West Brom—who have dropped their past three games—in the final play-off spot.

Noah After a late equalizer by Ohio for the Tigers, Ipswich and Leeds United are now tied for first place in the battle for automatic promotion; however, Ipswich has two games left and Leeds has just one.

After 19 minutes, George Hirst scored the first goal for the visitors with a curling shot into the bottom corner. Five minutes before the break, Ipswich goalkeeper Vaclav Hladky threw up a goal on the fringe of his area, allowing Ozan Tufan to tie the score for the Tigers. With a shot into the upper corner, Hutchinson gave the visitors a lead again.

Halftime replacement After 56 minutes, Liam Delap headed Hull’s second equalizer, but ten minutes later, Hutchinson scored his second with yet another brilliant finish.

With three minutes remaining, however, there was late drama as substitute Ohio shot Hull’s third equalizer into the roof of the Ipswich goal.

“I’m really proud to be a part of that, both sets of players, both clubs,” Rosenior remarked.

That truly brought honor to the Championship. It is all I can ask for because my players gave it their all. It made for an amazing football match.

The second goal, which came shortly before the break, is an incredible strike. The boys assured me we would be alright when I entered the dressing room at halftime.

“Everyone pays to watch a football game, and that’s what it could have finished at 6-6 when it went to 2-2.

That was among my favorite days or nights spent here, hands down. We still have the opportunity to finish with 73 points or in the play-offs.

What I don’t want to occur is for us to be unable to capitalize on a West Brom loss.
