At the 2024 Manly Warringah Sea Eagles Junior Representative Awards ceremony, two exceptionally talented rugby league players emerged as the recipients of the top honors.
The event, held at the Manly Pacific on Sunday morning, drew a crowd comprising players, coaches, officials, and proud family members, eager to celebrate the achievements of the young athletes. Among the distinguished guests were Sea Eagles CEO Tony Mestrov and Manly Board Director Julie Sibraa.
Local Manly junior Lili Boyle clinched the prestigious Junior Representative Female Player of the Year Award, garnering recognition for her outstanding performance throughout the season in the Tarsha Gale Cup. Boyle’s remarkable accomplishments have earned her a spot in the Sea Eagles’ Harvey Norman Women’s squad, poised to compete in the upcoming competition commencing in July.
Adding to the excitement of the ceremony was the presentation of the Jake Trbojevic Junior Representative Award to local Manly junior Cruz Death. Having demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication during the season in the Harold Matthews Cup, Death received the accolade from none other than Manly NRL star Jake Trbojevic himself. Notably, Death follows in the footsteps of his father, former first-grade player Jason Death, further solidifying his familial connection to the sport.
