Later this week, the New York Giants will host Tre’Davious White, the former All-Pro cornerback for the Buffalo Bills, as reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
White, a seven-year veteran, was selected by the Bills in the first round of the 2017 draft, 27th overall. The 5-11, 192-pound cornerback, a two-time Pro Bowler and first-team All-Pro (2019), has recently had seasons cut short by injuries. Most notably, this past season, he was limited to just four games due to a torn Achilles tendon sustained against the Miami Dolphins.

Throughout his career, White has recorded 311 tackles, five forced fumbles and fumble recoveries, 68 pass deflections, and 18 interceptions. He was chosen to the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2017 and to the second-team All-Pro in 2020.
The Giants met with Darious Williams earlier this month to discuss Williams as a prospective replacement CB2 replacement when Adoree Jackson’s contract was nullified. Williams who had been a cap cut by the Jaguars ended up signing with the Los Angeles Rams.
The Giants, on the other hand, now list Nick McCloud as their predicted CB2, a forecast they would probably prefer to have changed. McCloud was their greatest special teams player last season. In addition, the Giants have young players Cor’Dale Flott and Tre Hawkins III vying for the spot, but it’s thought they’d rather add an experienced player to use their six draft picks elsewhere.
