Newcastle fans are today recovering from yesterday’s brutal 2-1 Champions League defeat to AC Milan, which means we are out of Europe altogether.
Although we weren’t at our best, we played with fight and energy last night, especially in the first half when we went 1-0 up after a great goal from the excellent Joelinton.
At half time it looked good for us, but AC Milan were much better in the second half and managed to score a couple of goals to win the game.
We can’t say we had a lot of luck last night, but that happens in football and in life.
Now we have to move on and a win at home to Fulham on Saturday is just what the doctor ordered.
