Jenkins is but one man, and other people will also be required to replace the two recently severed safeties. The Seahawks still have Julian Love on their roster, and Coby Bryant will fill in a variety of defensive roles in addition to offering depth.

For the Seahawks, Rayshawn Jenkins will take over as the free safety. Jenkins is starting his eighth season in the workforce. He is considerably more reasonably priced yet rates only a little bit higher than Diggs’ 2023 season.

The Seahawks were able to create $17 million in cap space by cutting Adams and Diggs. Specifically, upon his release, Diggs cleared $11 million in cap space. This year, Rayshawn Jenkins is projected to cost $6.6 million, which is half as much as a player with a higher grade.
