Although Craig Moore acknowledges that Rangers lack Celtic’s trophy-winning experience, he believes Philippe Clement’s team is headed in the right direction.
Rangers, who now lead Celtic by two points in the Scottish Premiership standings, have turned the tide of the title fight in the last month.
The team led by Philippe Clement is still competing in both the Scottish Cup and the Europa League, having already won the Scottish League Cup this season.
Rangers lack the experience of winning trophies, according to Moore, who acknowledged that Celtic is the team that has won multiple trebles in recent history.
Nonetheless, the former star of the Rangers maintained that, at this point in the season, Clement’s team appears to be heading in the right direction.
“You have to argue that Rangers do not necessarily have huge experience of winning multiple trophies, but Celtic do,” the Australian stated on the Go Radio Football Show.
Rangers now occupy a new position.
“However, they appear to be heading in the right direction with ease.”
In recent seasons, Rangers has only once won the Scottish Cup and the league.
