Warriors: Stephen Curry’s stance on playing rest of career with Draymond Green, Klay Thompson

The Golden State Warriors are among the hottest teams in the NBA, but momentum is not assured following an All-Star break. While Stephen Curry continues to be the team’s offensive focal point, players like rookie Brandin Podziemski and Jonathan Kuminga are also contributing. What does the future hold for Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, though?

With a 27–26 record and a 10th-place finish in the West, the Dubs are in a difficult situation. If the team does not make a deep run in the playoffs, it may decide that major changes need to be made. Green would need to be traded because he signed a big contract extension last offseason, but Thompson could easily sign a free agent contract this summer and join another team.

But Curry thinks the family will stick together because all three of the Warriors’ main players have talked about it in the past. According to ClutchPoints, the renowned shooter told ESPN’s Malika Andrews, “That is always been a motivator for us.” Additionally, you want to wrap things up properly. I think it is extremely possible to accomplish both. We just have to protect the identity of who we are as best we can.”
