breaking news: Titans To Hire Randy Jordan As Running Backs Coach

NASHVILLE: According to reports, Titans head coach Brian Callahan discovered a running back coach. Randy Jordan is going to be the running backs coach for the Titans, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. Jordan, who spent ten seasons as the Commanders’ running backs coach, now works with Callahan in Nashville. Ron Rivera kept him when he began his career under Jay Gruden. Jordan was hired by Callahan when Dan Quinn was named the Commanders’ new head coach.

Jordan began working with the Raiders as an assistant coach in 2003. After that, he coached running backs for ten years at Texas A&M, Nebraska, and North Carolina before moving to Washington to work with Gruden’s staff in 2014. Before beginning to coach, Jordan spent nine seasons as an NFL player, primarily with the Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars. Jordan is good friends with Bill, Brian’s father, who will likely coach the offensive line for the Titans. Jordan was hired by Bill at Nebraska while he was the head coach, and Bill had previously coached him with the Raiders.
