Jackson Sparks Ravens’ Thrilling Comeback Victory Over Bengals

Lamar Jackson led the Baltimore Ravens to a dramatic 35-34 comeback victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in Maryland, overcoming a 14-point deficit late in the game. Trailing 21-7 in the third quarter, Jackson took charge in the final period, throwing three touchdown passes, including the decisive five-yard strike to Rashod Bateman with just under two minutes remaining.

The reigning NFL MVP faced a tough first half, as the Bengals’ defense held him to only 71 yards and one touchdown. However, Jackson bounced back after the break, throwing for 219 yards and three touchdowns in the second half. His performance helped propel the Ravens to a commanding 28 second-half points, the most by any team this season after halftime.

Despite Jackson’s late heroics, the Bengals still had an opportunity to steal the win. Ja’Marr Chase’s five-yard touchdown closed the gap to just one point, but Joe Burrow’s pass attempt on a crucial two-point conversion with 38 seconds left was incomplete, as he failed to connect with Tanner Hudson. This missed opportunity allowed the Ravens to hold on for the victory, improving their record to 7-3, while the Bengals dropped to 4-6.
