Crystal Palace chairman stunned by low interest in Manchester United target.

Manchester United are already eyeing players for the 2025 summer transfer window, with Crystal Palace winger Eberechi Eze among the targets.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United are planning to target a new defender, midfielder, and winger for the summer transfer window.

One name on their radar is Crystal Palace winger Eberechi Eze. Despite his standout performances for the Eagles last season, there was a surprising lack of interest in him during the recent transfer window.

Palace chairman Steve Parish expressed his astonishment at this lack of interest in an interview with Sky Sports. He said he was “astounded” that the club did not receive offers for Eze.

“I was really concerned about losing both Michael [Olise] and Eze in the same window,” Parish admitted. “We didn’t see the interest in Eze that I expected. He’s an outstanding footballer and person.”

Eze, who can play both as a No10 and out wide, is contracted with Crystal Palace until 2027 and has a £68m release clause. Manchester United will be keeping a close eye on him throughout the season.
