Stoke City striker Ryan Mmaee plans to stay at the club despite interest from Stade Brestois and Angers SCO, according to reporter Fraser Gillan.
Stoke City signed Morocco international Ryan Mmaee from Ferencvaros last summer, bringing him in with high expectations. However, his debut season was rocky, marked by speculation about a potential winter exit and disciplinary issues that saw him fall out of first-team favor.
Despite these challenges, Mmaee has worked hard to regain his spot and scored his first goal of the season in the Carabao Cup victory over Middlesbrough. Although there has been speculation about his future, particularly with interest from Ligue 1 sides Stade Brestois and Angers SCO, Mmaee is committed to staying with Stoke City.

According to reporter Fraser Gillan, Mmaee is focused on proving himself to manager Steven Schumacher and has no plans to leave before the transfer deadline on Friday night. He signed a three-year deal last summer, extending until 2026, and remains determined to make a positive impact this season.
After a difficult first season, Mmaee could have sought opportunities elsewhere, but he is resolute in his desire to succeed at Stoke. Despite recent benching and competition from players like Emre Tezgel and Lewis Koumas, Mmaee’s goal against Middlesbrough could bolster his chances of re-entering the starting lineup.
As the transfer window nears its end, Stoke City appears unlikely to make significant new signings but may offload some fringe players. Mmaee, however, looks set to stay and continue his effort to establish himself with the Potters.
