However, Austrian clubs LASK and Red Bull Salzburg have also entered the race for Bowat, and Aberdeen has yet to finalize personal terms with the player, leaving the door open for a potential move by the Austrian sides, who are also in discussions with Fulham over the defender’s price.

 

Celtic ‘check’ valuation of Liverpool defender

Celtic is reportedly exploring the possibility of signing Liverpool’s Owen Beck, who has attracted interest this summer. The 22-year-old left-back, who spent last season on loan at Dundee FC, returned briefly to Liverpool in January, where he made his Premier League debut. According to reports, Celtic has inquired about Beck’s conditions as clubs, including Queens Park Rangers, are considering a loan deal for him. However, Celtic is interested in making the move permanent and has asked Liverpool about their valuation of the player. Other clubs are also said to be monitoring Beck’s situation.
